As with many people, the iPhone has become my daily use camera. I set up periodic assignments for myself - "take a portrait of someone you don't know everyday", "create a visual diary of today", "take a photograph of something common in an unusual way".

The images in this gallery are representative of the assignment to create a visual daily diary. The were taken with the Hipstamatic app, sometimes modified with the Tilt/Shift (another app), and then combined in Photoshop. Each is an attempt to find the extraordinary in the ordinary.
