Depending on the cartridge selected, RainSoft sediment filters are available to filter out particles as small as 1 micron in size. Filtering cartridge will eventually become exhausted or consumed and need replacement. Replacement schedule will depend on the quality of the incoming water and the amount and type of sediment present.
